                             Memorial Cross

 

In 2007, a memorial cross was donated in honor of Mary Lynn Cullen McElhinney. The large white cross stands in the church yard south of the handicap parking lot facing W. Bartlett Street. Allen McElhinney, Mary Lynn’s husband, added a beautiful flower bed at the base of the cross in 2008. The flowers reflecting each season are lovingly cared for by Julie McElhinney Roberts and husband, Marty. The majestic cross has become the backdrop for many family pictures taken at Community Presbyterian Church.
